The European Patent Office (EPO) announced that Jérôme Galon has been nominated for the European Inventor Award 2019 in the ?Research? category.

The European Patent Office (EPO) announced that French immunologist Jérôme Galon has been nominated for the European Inventor Award 2019 for his diagnostic cancer test Immunoscore® based on a patient’s immune response. Jérôme Galon, who is Director of Research at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM) in Paris and head of its Laboratory on Integrative Cancer Immunology at the Cordeliers Research Center, is one of three finalists nominated in the “Research” category.
To bring his invention to the patients, Galon co-founded the company HalioDx in 2014 and today serves as chairman of its scientific advisory board. HalioDx has now 160 employees and is a leader in Immuno-Oncology diagnostic.
