Metabolism and tumor microenvironment in Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia
🗓 Start date: As soon as possible
📍 Location : Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers
DRIHM Laboratory
As part of a research program funded by INCa, the Drug Resistance in Hematological Malignancies team, led by Dr. Santos Susin, investigates in Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM) both intrinsic tumor factors and extrinsic influences from the tumor microenvironment (TME) that drive disease progression and treatment resistance.
The successful candidate will contribute to the integration of multi-omic data, the metabolic characterization of WM tumor cells, and the study of interactions with T lymphocytes. Special attention will be given to poor-prognosis subgroups (CXCR4, SPI1 mutations). Results will be validated in preclinical models to support the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
