The “HPV Tumours” group is led by Hélène Péré, Pharm.D., Ph.D., and David Veyer, Pharm.D., Ph.D. Their goal is to characterize the molecular status of human papillomavirus (HPV) and the associated cellular genetic alterations in HPV-related cancers (anogenital and head and neck cancers). This data, combined with highly sensitive digital PCR detection of tumoral, circulating, or lymph node HPV DNA obtained from clinical cohorts, aims to improve screening, therapeutic management strategies, and patient follow-up (classification, recurrence, therapeutic targets).
