Young Investigator Masterclass 2026

An immersive programme to advance your research project and reflect on your scientific career path

The Cordeliers Research Center (CRC) is organising the Young Investigator Masterclass 2026, an interactive programme designed for early-career researchers who wish to develop their project and exchange ideas about their academic future.

Over two days, this masterclass offers a privileged setting to take a step back, refine ideas, and benefit from personalised feedback.

  • Develop an ongoing research project
  • Strengthen scientific communication skills
  • Practice and improve your elevator pitch
  • Engage with mentors and fellow early-career researchers
  • Gain a better understanding of research career paths and opportunities

The masterclass is organised into several formats:

Interactive workshops
Sessions focused on project development, structuring ideas, and scientific communication.

Mentorship
Small-group discussions with mentors, providing personalised feedback and enriching participants’ reflection.

Elevator pitches
Short presentation sessions to learn how to communicate a project clearly and effectively.
