2-year Post-doctoral position at CRC on Tumor microenvironment and CAR T-cell resistance in B-cell lymphoid malignancies

Starting at the beginning of 2021, a 2-year post-doctoral position funded by SIRIC Curamus is available at the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers (team Cell Death and Drug Resistance in Hematological Disorders). Our group is located in the heart of the 6th district in Paris and implicated in the Biological and Clinical hematological services of the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital.

We are seeking a highly motivated open-minded young scientist to join a research program devoted to study the role of tumor microenvironment and resistance in B-cell lymphoid malignancies (Waldenström macroglobulinemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia) in the context of CAR T-cell therapies. The project implicates already established collaborations with different teams, including clinical hematology and pathology departments, and the use of cutting-edge technologies (Hyperion and CyTOF mass cytometry, GeoMX Nanostring,…). This work will also involve genome-wide approaches.

Candidates with a PhD in onco-hematology and solid background in cellular and molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Experience in immuno-hematology, bioinformatics and/or flow cytometry will be a plus. The candidate should be fluent in English, expected to show independent thinking and ability to drive its own research, and willing to participate to the lab’s life (the project relies on constant interactions with other team members).

The applicant will benefit from a highly collaborative and diverse environment at the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers/Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital and from state-of-the-art technological platforms. The Centre de  recherche des Cordeliers is located in the center of Paris in a culturally and scientifically rich environment.

Salary :based on experience (up to 70,000 € gross salary).

Application: Interested candidates should send a CV, with a motivation letter and two references (email addresses) to: Dr Damien Roos-Weildamien.roosweil@aphp.fr
